In May 2007, I made one of the best decisions of my life. A decision that has brought my friends and family closer together and that will continue to create memories for a lifetime. I bought a Triumph boat from Plantation Marine, located in Walterboro, South Carolina. Having never owned a boat before and being from Sante Fe, NM with not a great deal of boating going on there, I was anxious and excited at the same time and allowed my wife and kids to talk me into the big purchase.
My friend at work was telling me about Triumph boats and how they were made of plastic. I was a little skeptical at first but extremely curious, so I located a dealer and took a drive to find out more about these plastic boats. The salesman at Plantation Marine was extremely helpful in making my buying experience painless. William Inger and Clifton Hiers made sure to explain all about the boat, to include the safety features and equipment needed to make sure I was safe on the water. I purchased a 170-center console that day. I got the boat home and my wife and kids were so happy and could not wait to go for a ride. We spent all summer on the boat. Every weekend we would pack up and head to the river. The weekends would be filled with tubing, swimming and tying up with friends enjoying the water. We loved our South Carolina summer so much because of our new boat.
My son and I also use the boat, when the wife’s at work, to go fishing. We absolutely love to get out on the Cooper River. I will pick him up from school with the boat in tow and head off to the river to catch red fish, trout, flounder and cat fish. The time spent together on the river has brought us closer.
I just wanted to say thank you for making a safe, cost effective and family bonding boat. I will be buying a bigger Triumph soon and I will definitely recommend your product to all my friends and family. I constantly get compliments on my boat when out on the river and I tell them all about how it is made and how strong it is; people are amazed. Thanks again.
