During the first week in June 2007, I purchased a like new 2006 Triumph 215 center console from Salty Dog Marine in Jacksonville Florida. The boat only had about twenty five hours on it at the time. We had seen the Triumph 215 boat at several local boat shows and really fell in love with it. When we came across this particular boat we couldn't pass it up...

I have been the proud owner of 3 Triumph Boats, my current boat is a 2006 170cc w/ Yamaha 60hp, 4 stroke. On August 21 22, 2008, Tropical Storm FAY hit Jacksonville. This slow moving storm had local winds measured at over 60mph and lasted nearly 36 hours...

Several years ago I was at the Harrisburg Boat Show in Pennsylvania. I was really impressed with the layout and features the Triumph 215CC offered. However, I had purchased a Carolina Skiff DLV 238 about six months earlier...

We have found that Krud Kutter brand "The Must for Rust, Rust Remover & Inhibitor" works very well for removing stains. It can be found at most home improvement centers.
Polish with a dry, clean buffing pad and an electric buffer. Buffing action will create heat that will bring the sheen back to the surface.
Since there is no gel coat, the color is solid all the way through, much like a Corian® countertop. For a small scratch, simply sand the scratch out, starting with 240 or 320 grit sandpaper, work your way up to the next grit, ending at 800. 240 to 320 to 400 to 500 to 800 is typical and reduces the chance of leaving swirl marks when you are done. This will leave the surface with a matt or semi-gloss finish. Go to the Restore Sheen section to learn how to get the gloss back.
Large abrasions or holes can be easily filled with a plastic welder and welding rod by your Triumph dealer. Once the area has been filled it can be sanded smooth using the same method as above.
Grass, green algae and barnacles can attach to the surface. Any growth that does attach to the bottom can be removed with a stiff brush or pressure washer. If barnacles attach, allow them to completely dry with the boat out of the water; they can then be scraped off with a piece of wood or with a pressure washer. They also can be cleaned in the water with a plastic putty knife.
A light coat of a 3M product called 94 Primer should be wiped onto the area where decals will be applied and allowed to evaporate before applying the decal. You can purchase this through a dealer.
